Research Interests:
- Microalgae communities in the sea marginal biotopes (interstitial, fouling etc.): biodiversity, community structure, interactions between microalgae and other organisms.
- Phytoplankton, microphytobenthos.

Professional career:
2005–2010 – Engineer-hydrobiologist of department of the Ecology of Marginal Communities, OB IBSS;
2010–2018 – Junior research associate of department of Ecological Integration of Biocycles, IMB of the NAS of Ukraine.
2018 – till present Researcher of department of Ecological Integration of Biocycles, IMB of the NAS of Ukraine and from 2024, the Department of Biological Foundations of Ecological Management, IMB of the NAS of Ukraine.
Participation in international and national projects:
- «A COast to COast NETwork of protected areas: from the shore to the deep sea – COCONET» (2012);
- «Improving Environmental Monitoring in the BLAck Sea – EMBLAS», (2016).
