Research Interests:

  • The species diversity of invertebrate macrozoobenthos, the general structure of their number and biomass, various taxonomic, trophic and ecological groups and complexes; resident species; composition and spatial distribution of benthic biocenoses of the northwestern part of the Black Sea.

1973–1975 – Laboratory assistant at the department of hydrobiology of the shelf of the Odesa branch of the Institute of Biology of the Southern Seas of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR;

1975–1978 – Senior laboratory assistant of the Department of Hydrobiology of the shelf of the Odesa Department of the Institute of Biology of the Southern Seas of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR;

1978–1979 – Junior researcher of the Odesa branch of AzCherNIRO (laboratory of marine mammals);

1979 – Engineer of SRTM «Ariel» of «Yugrybpromrozvidka» management (Kerch);

1979–1980 – Engineer of the BMRT «Cape Ostrovsky» of the «Yugrybpromrozvidka» management (Kerch);

 

1980–1981 – Junior researcher of the scientific group of the Antarctic whaling flotilla «Soviet Ukraine»;

  • Scientific and biological substantiation of the possibility of performing urgent operational dredging works on the Dniester-Lyman approach channel and on the approach channel of the Dniester-Tsaregrad estuary of the Bilhorod-Dniester port during the period of the ban on specialized fishing in 2017.
