Hydrobiology, contour marine ecosystems, heterotrophic flagellates including dinoflagellates and their resting stages.

1983–1984 – Department of Botany and Plant Physiology, I.I. Mechnikov Odessa National University, laboratory assistant;

1984–1987 – Odesa branch of the Institute of Animal Physiology, Biochemistry and Nutrition, laboratory assistant;

1987–1991 – Odesa branch of the Institute of Agricultural Biotechnology;

1991–2014 – Odesa branch of the Institute of Biology of Southern Seas (OB IBSS), Junior Researcher;

2014 – up to the present time, Institute of Marine Biology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Junior Researcher.

 

Participation in international and national projects:

  • Formation of biological diversity of the Black Sea in the conditions of eutrophication and biological pollution (2006–2010);
  • Community of Black Sea marginal biotopes: current status, forecast of variability, recommendations for their protection and restoration (2007–2011);
  • The relationship of communitiesof unicellular and multicellular organisms of ecotones of biocycles of the Azov-Black Sea region (2011–2015);
  • Scientific-research works on hydrological, hydrochemical, hydrobiological and medical-biological examination of the state of the Kuyalnytsky estuary and sea water from the Odesa Bay: hydrobiological study (2016–2019);
  • Structural and functional organization of coastal marine and estuarine ecosystems in terms of river runoff transformation (2016–2020);
  • Patterns of formation of the productive potential of Azov-Black Sea ecosystems under the influence of natural and anthropogenic changes (2021–2023);
  • Patterns of functioning of contour groupings of the Black Sea ecosystems in the context of disruption of natural processes (2021 – till now).
